Gateshead’s Covid Response Film
COVID-19 has hit us all hard and lockdown was a particularly challenging time for our area but Gateshead residents, organisations and its Council went above and beyond to help those struggling and to bring joy during that difficult time.
Gateshead Council commissioned us to document the lockdown and we were touched to find so many residents doing extraordinary things to make the lives of others’ a little bit better.
From scarecrow trails to Sunday dinners, from sewing to dancing, this film shows the great community spirit of the town. Commissioned by Gateshead Council, we’d like to thank all those who sent in photos, videos and shared their stories.
