We’ve got something to say: how DigitalMe gives young people a voice

Thanks to funding from Arts Council and Artswork, we were able to provide a DigitalMe course to a wonderful group of young care-leavers in Portsmouth, with the aim of helping them raise awareness of the issues that affect young people in their local area.

This DigitalMe has had an incredible impact on those who participated:

I just wanted to say thank you to you and your team for the amazing job that you and your team did with the participants in Artswork’s Portsmouth Creative Skills programme. The DigitalMe films are absolutely brilliant – so creative and powerful. I was speaking with the young people involved and they said both how much they’d enjoyed the process, how amazed they were at the end result, and that it had really freed them up to be honest, much more so because it was  something that actually featured their own faces.” - Louise Govier, Chief Executive, Artswork
