ISOLATION DIARIES – RESPONSE TO LOCKDOWN
The highs and lows of living in lockdown are being shared online in hundreds of highly personal Isolation Diaries created by Tyneside families. They are one of more than a dozen new Digital Voice projects (seen here - Digital Voice: Covid-19 Response) to help individuals and families cope with the Covid-19 crisis. Experience isolation through the eyes of PhotoClub members by scrolling below (more info on PhotoClub is available here ) Organiser Robin Cowings, PhotoClub’s resident photographer, explains the background in this special DV Blog.
This is a project about adapting to the current Covid 19 crisis and the limitations that have been imposed on us. A project about our fears and concerns. About how we are coping and adapting. How we are getting food. How we are interacting.
Families are using their phones and devices to take the pictures and edit them, texting or emailing them to us to curate and exhibit online.
