Discovering my potential!

PhotoClub is an inclusive group of children and young people and their families based at Newcastle City Library.

They take photos and create photographic artwork  using iPads, exploring a number of techniques and developing lots of different skills.

They enhance photos taken on field trips across the North East, experiment with innovative apps, DSLRs and photographic art techniques.

PhotoClub is funded by Newcastle City Council’s Arts Connect initiative and facilitated by Digital Voice for Communities with photographer Robin Cowings.

Participants tell us they love coming along, getting creative with family and friends and displaying their work in our regular exhibitions.
