Digital Learning Day Northumberland, 26 November
A uniquely brilliant event
Barrier Breaking
Relevant
Informative
This is just a snippet of the feedback we’ve received following our first ever Digital Learning Day last year and this November, we’re going to do it all again, this time in Newbiggin. Our partner this time is Thriving Together Northumberland.
Is it for me?
Digital Voice will be sharing our skills with voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations so that they can better support their user groups digitally.
What happens at a Digital Learning Day?
Our team will deliver sessions on Simple Digital Content Creation, Creative Community Consultation and Uploading Content to Websites, as well as being available for drop-ins on digital storytelling, digital inclusion and engaging reluctant digital learners. All of our sessions are relaxed, engaging and fun.
Julie Nicholson, our Managing Director tells us why it’s important to her share Digital Voice’s skills and practice:
“We know from research that the North East is still trailing behind other areas of the UK in terms of digital skills; we can do something about that. The day is also a great opportunity to network with other organisations in the sector.”
Here are some of the comments from last year’s attendees:
“I learned a good amount about Canva and AI, the simple yet effective benefits to keep the community engaged.”
“An interesting day with lots of useful advice. Today has helped to clarify how to engage more interest in our community project.”
When is it happening?
Our Digital Learning Day will take place on 26 November 2024, 9.30-4.30pm at the Newbiggin Sports & Community Hub, Woodhorn Rd, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.
Save the date and we’ll be posting on our social media channels about how to book very soon.
