Public Sector Innovation Week 2024
We’re delighted to be a guest speaker at this year’s Public Sector Innovation Week on March 12th at 4:30 pm, a week of events dedicated to advancing innovation across the Public Sector in the UK, bringing together talks from leaders, innovators, and change-makers to drive progress and shape the future of public services.
Digital Voice will be presenting a session with Gateshead Council’s Specialist Support Service, discussing some of our pioneering DigitalMe projects. These films were co-produced with the council and last year, were recognised at the Social Worker of the Year Awards, where we won the Gold Award in the category of Digital Transformation in Social Work.
In our session, Julie Nicholson will talk to Rachel Lacey, Deputy Youth Justice Team Manager, Gateshead Council about the process of making the award-winning films as well as the council’s plans to make four more DigitalMe films this year:
“I’m so pleased to continue this work with the council, it demonstrates their commitment to trauma informed response and the power of listening, really listening, to people’s experiences and then turning that into action. The films we made for both the youth justice service and the domestic abuse team are already enabling partners and decision makers across the sector the opportunity to understand the lived experience of young people and crucially, what interventions have helped them best .”
- Julie Nicholson, Managing Director, Digital Voice
Julie and Emma Blackwell from the youth justice team have also been invited to Parliament to share their learning with a national audience.
Public Sector Innovation week is ideal for any public sector workers who would like to learn from colleagues across the UK. It’s all virtual, free of charge and will feature a range of presentations and live Q&A sessions.
We hope to see you there!
