The 2010 Young People's Media Festival saw scores of videos produced by schools and youth groups across the North East and Cumbria.
They were screened in front of more than 200 people at the annual event, which is organised by the Royal Television Society in partnership with Teesside University.
The certificate for Outstanding Support by Digital Voice for the youth groups was presented by Tony Edwards, Chair of the Festival Steering Group. Three projects were entered by Digital Voice: ACCESS ALL AREAS, SO YOU WANT TO WORK IN MEDIA? and Saturday Job.
On hand to collect the certificate were Sarah Lee, Michael Pearson and Melissa Vurlan, who took part in the Passionate about Media project.
Saturday Job was shown at an event the evening before the RTS Media Festival. This ten minute documentary was created by Bridgette Hope, as part of the Traveller Families project.
