Eleven media practitioners have taken part in two pilots for the new OCN accreditation. They have been awarded Level 2 Facilitation for Media Professionals certificates.
The training will now be available for media professionals across the North East.
Digital Voice founder director Julie Nicholson said: “It has always been the policy of our social enterprise to combine a high calibre of media skills with specialist facilitation skills so that our project practitioners gain as much as possible from working with us.
”We wanted to back this up with training but couldn’t find what we wanted – so we decided to develop our own. We’re delighted that we’ve been able to enhance the skills of the associates who work with us through this course tailored precisely to achieve our aims.”
Digital Voice is also delighted to congratulate one of its regular associates on winning a top award. Andy Ludbrook has been presented with the Royal Television Society regional Award for Craft: Audio at The Sage Gateshead.
Andy has been a familiar member of the team, recording sound on location for many videos and also providing sound post production. Examples include his sound effects on the much-praised Our Care Pledge and The Haunted Trailer.
Details of accreditations provided by Digital Voice will be added soon to this website.
