Innovative intergenerational pilot success

16th January 2013

An exciting way to store and share stories online has been developed by a group of older people with 6 young carers: together they have created ‘Geo-stories’. Both groups were trained to make films using interviews and old photos to tell stories linked to places which have special meaning for them. These films are now on location points on a Google Earth map. This means people can understand the link between stories and the places they see when they are walking around the local area.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the process and the group are keen to continue populating their map. It can be access through the following link: Map
